Brett P. Gover is an associate attorney at Moshtael Family Law, licensed in California since 2016. He earned his J.D. from Western State College of Law—where he received a Witkin Award in Business Associations and honed practical skills through trial representation, negotiation competitions, and externships—and his bachelor’s degree in political science from UC Santa Barbara. Since joining the firm in 2019, Brett has led litigation teams and worked directly on Mr. Moshtael’s personal caseload, handling high-stakes family law matters throughout Southern California, including contested trials, domestic violence restraining orders, and adoptions.
Christopher Gross began his career in 1993 as a Clean Water Act intern at the Surfrider Foundation. After 25 years in environmental and securities law with firms like HSBC and Goldman Sachs, he shifted exclusively to family law in 2018. Known for his compassion and steadiness, Christopher balances his practice with surfing, snowboarding, yoga, and time with his fiancé, Suze Q, and adult sons.
Elizabeth Heiner earned her J.D. from Chapman University School of Law in May 2013 and was admitted to the California bar that December. Write Scholar. After seven years handling dissolution and parentage cases across Southern California, he relocated to Gainesville, Florida in 2022 and continued practicing remotely. In April 2024, Charles joined Moshtael Family Law, where he collaborates on complex case strategies and prepares clients for hearings and trials. Outside of work, he enjoys weightlifting, exploring Gainesville’s nature reserves with his wife and two young boys, and staying active in his community.
Racquelle Vasquez is a family law attorney with a J.D. from Western State College of Law. Sherri-Marie J. St. Cyr is a California attorney with over 19 years in family law—first as a paralegal and now as counsel—who also serves as a Daily Settlement Officer and court-appointed minor’s counsel.
