Puja Parekh, O.D. is your neighborhood eye doctor located at 3800 D Barranca Parkway. Your Irvine eyecare center offers genuine eye care where your eye health and wellness is our primary focus. Annual eye exams are a recommended cornerstone for ensuring the health of your eyes. In addition to checking for changes in your vision and updating your prescription, we will also look at your overall eye health, internally and externally. Prevention and early detection are keys to maintaining healthy eyes, as some eye health issues have no immediate symptoms but can still cause damage if left untreated. That’s why regular check-ups are critical.

  • Dr. Puja Parekh

    Dr. Parekh has grown up in Southern California. She attended Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona where she obtained her doctor of optometry in 2014. She completed her residency in primary care, low vision, and traumatic brain injury at the VA in Long Beach and Santa Ana Community Based Outpatient Clinic in 2015. She obtained her fellowship at the American Academy of Optometry in 2020 after a paper and several poster presentations in ocular disease.

    Education: Doctor of Optometry -Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona Completed her residency in primary care, low vision, and traumatic brain injury at the VA.

  • Dr. Christine Cheng

    Dr. Cheng grew up in Northern California and earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from SCCO in Fullerton in 2015. She completed an ocular disease residency at the West Los Angeles VA Hospital and later owned a private practice in LA. She now serves as Managing Optometrist for Irvine and Mission Viejo, with a special interest in myopia management and caring for Veterans. She lives in Irvine with her husband and four children and is proud to provide quality eye care to her local community.

  • Dr. Karen Nguyen

    Dr. Karen Nguyen grew up in Garden Grove, CA. She completed dual undergraduate degrees in Human Biology and Public Health at UC San Diego before earning her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry. She completed an ocular disease residency at the Herbert Wertheim School of Optometry and Vision Science at the University of California, Berkeley. Outside of optometry, she enjoys writing Yelp reviews, drinking coffee and matcha, and doing lagree.
