Rakhi Dayal, MD

Description

Dr. Rakhi Dayal is a board-certified UCI Health anesthesiologist who specializes in pain medicine. Her clinical interests include pain medicine, spine pain, neuropathic pain, cancer pain, complex regional pain syndrome and headaches. She earned her medical degree at Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi, India. She completed a pediatrics internship at John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County in Chicago, Ill., where she also completed a residency in anesthesiology and a fellowship in pain medicine. Dayal has earned many honors and awards, including Best Resident Award in Anesthesiology, Best Research Paper and Best Poster Award. She is actively involved in research and in the training of fellows and residents with the goal to expand the clinical interdisciplinary pain practice at UCI Health.
