Dr. Katarina Veskovic is a board-certified UCI Health internal medicine physician who specializes in general internal medicine, chronic disease management, preventive medicine and nutrition. Her clinical interests include obesity and bariatric medicine. Veskovic earned her medical degree at the University of Belgrade Faculty of Medicine in Serbia, followed by a residency in internal medicine at the University of Chicago's Weiss Memorial Hospital. She has extensive clinical experience with obesity-associated comorbidities such as diabetes, hyperlipidemia and obstructive sleep apnea. She works with patients on personalized weight-loss strategies, dietary plans, exercise regimens and behavior modification. She also works with patients who may choose bariatric surgery.
